Here’s what viewers have said about the training:

“This "Elderwise" approach has put a new thought into my head/heart.
It's not so much what I need to "do" for John, but who I need to "be" for him.”

“I love the spiritual component to the Elderwise Way because that essence of my mom is still there; I just need some ideas on nourishing it.”

      ∞∞∞

As I began my journey as a caregiver to Mom, I saw only the loss and not the person, hearing only the confusion, unable or unwilling to see and hear more. . . (Now, with the Elderwise Way) sharing joy at last, I opened my eyes and ears and mind to the simple truth that she was Still Here, living with creativity and joy.

I think this curriculum would be very worthwhile for family caregivers as a way to show the respect and dignity that they would wish for their loved one.

I really appreciate that the training can be applied to many settings in which people care for frail elders.  The fact that the course can be completed in one sitting or in several segments really meets the needs of caregivers that might not have the full amount of time to devote to watching/listening to the whole course at one time.
