Elderwise Pop-up Day Program at the Memory Hub
ā¢ In conjunction with the Frye Art Museumās Caregiver Workshop ā¢
We aim to support caregivers who are attending the workshop by
providing a stimulating program for their loved ones.
WHEN: Friday, 06/12, 12:00-4:00
WHERE: The Memory Hub, 1021 Columbia St, Seattle
WHAT: 4-hour Adult Day Program
WHO: People living with mild to mid dementia
COST: $100. We have limited scholarships available
QUALIFICATIONS ā Must be Independent with ADLās (toileting, ambulating, transferring) ā Must be able to follow instructions ā Must be able to engage with others and participate in the activities
SCHEDULE ā 12-1 Guided Discussion ā 1-1:30 Break in the garden, weather permitting ā 1:30-2:30 Painting to classical music ā 2:30-3:15 High Tea (small sandwiches, scones, etc) ā 3:15-4:00 Music and movement

Spirit-Centered Care
Spirit-Centered CareĀ® honors the essence of who we are and recognizes that a person is whole regardless of physical or cognitive changes. This guiding philosophy helps Elderwise facilitators to have meaningful interactions with our program participants and provides opportunities for more joyful connection between adults with dementia and their families.
ArtFull Dementia
ArtFull Dementia celebrates the creativity, vibrancy, and wholeness of adults living with dementia. Explore a gallery of artwork created by Elderwise program participants, learn about the artists, and bring a piece of Elderwise home by purchasing art to directly support the continuation of Elderwise programming.

Elderwise
Teaching Modules
The Elderwise training program teaches professional and personal care partners how to use the fundamentals of Spirit-Centered CareĀ® to become more comfortable caring for vulnerable elders. You will learn how to work from your own essence, create calm and enriching moments, and make your interactions more joyful, meaningful, and empowering for all involved.
Elderwise Day Program
The Elderwise Adult Day Program is now open at the Memory Hub! Participants in the day program benefit from respectful and nurturing care while enjoying arts and social engagement opportunities.
