Explore public art at Sam Smith Park! Part of the I-90 lid, the park honors a man remembered for his efforts to promote social justice and to bridge cultural and political differences in Seattle's black and white communities. Join us for an opportunity to take a short walk in the park on primarily paved surfaces, and to experience and discuss public artwork there. No art historical knowledge required; all contributions to the discussion are welcome! For those living with early to mid-stage dementia and care partners. This “Arts in the Park” Art Walk event will be on Monday, June 29th, from 10:00 am- 11:30 am.
Location: Sam Smith Park, 1400 MLK Jr Way S.
