This six-session class offers conversation-based gallery tours and studio art-making experiences for individuals with dementia and their care partners. Art-making in the Frye Studio led by Elderwise Creative Programming Director, Tamara Keefe, encourages experimentation with various media including watercolor paint, clay, and collage. A short social time concludes each class.
The January 28 session features artist Jessika Kenney of the exhibition Anchor Zero, on view January 10–February 1, 2015. Kenney will lead the art-making activity as part of her engagement with the Frye during her exhibition.
